Alejandro “Alex” Rojas of Los Angeles, California, previously served in a leadership role for Bassett Unified School District and as a consultant with Greenvale Consulting Services. Currently serving as general manager for the Central Basin Municipal Water District, Alejandro “Alex” Rojas has achieved much for the organization.

Mr. Rojas’s first role in business management was with Greenvale Consulting Services, where he became a principal consultant in 2011. Some of his duties included relationship management, financial analysis, and budgeting/forecasting.

In 2013, Bassett Unified School District hired Mr. Rojas as its superintendent, a role that included capital project leadership, strategic planning and systems optimization, and demographic analysis and strategic marketing. He was integral to the design and deployment of district-wide infrastructural upgrades. He also developed and executed strategic plans for district operations and student achievement for 3,520 students across seven schools. Mr. Rojas was involved with research to analyze enrollment trends and worked with the district on its branding strategy.

In 2020, Mr. Rojas became general manager of Central Basin Municipal Water District, a role that involves strategic leadership and revenue growth, financial management, project management, customer service, and stakeholder relations. Under his leadership, he has helped the organization achieve a 30 percent increase in sales, grown cash reserves to more than $20 million, and supervised multiple construction projects.
